ELECPOR participated in the seminar “Analysis of the Electricity Sector and Outlook for the New Regulatory Period 2026-2029” organized by ERSE, with the aim of collecting contributions for the New Regulatory Period 2026-2029.
Maria João Coelho, Director General of ELECPOR, participated in the 3rd edition of the Ibero-Brazilian Energy Conference, CONIBEN 2024, as a speaker in Panel 1, dedicated to “Strategies for the Energy Transition”.
ELECPOR took part in the MIBEL 20 Years Conference: ‘MIBEL in the context of European market design’, organised by the Council of Regulators on the occasion of the celebration of 20 years of the Iberian Electricity Market (MIBEL).
ELECPOR’s Managing Director, Maria João Coelho, together with her fellow panellists, João Torres, APE, Rita Silva, ENSE, João Faria Conceição, REN, Miguel Faria, Floene and Álvaro Laranjo, APEG, debated the importance of supervision and prevention in a panel dedicated to Infrastructures and Services for Final Energy Consumption. The panel was moderated by Tatiana Matos, DGAE.
On World Energy Day, 29 May, ELECPOR took part in the Lisbon Energy Summit, in Session 9 ‘Ensuring the grid is renewable energy ready: Regulations, licences, improved technologies and greater efficiency’, in the Climate Tech programme.
On World Energy Day, at an initiative of the Portuguese Energy Association, ELECPOR’s General Director, Maria João Coelho, took part in the signing ceremony of the Joint Declaration that highlights the urgency and importance of the shift towards cleaner and more sustainable energy sources.
